SAMANA - LAND

If you just can't choose which excursion to do or if there isn't enough time to do all the excursions you want, Samana is the answer. This tour is undoubtedly a combination of 3 excursions. Oh, and we also launched a waterfall!

Samana is a peninsula in the northeast region of the Dominican Republic, with a mix of pristine beaches and lush forests with terrain that is around 70% mountainous. From Punta Cana you will board our charter flight and land 30 minutes later at the Arroyo Barril airport in Samana. Your safari trucks will be waiting for you while we immediately venture into the mountainous countryside of Samana.

Our first stop is at a typical ranch where we will learn about and taste the rich products of the region: coconut, coffee, cocoa, mango, pineapple, sweet potato, banana, papaya, passion fruit and mamajuana. natural aphrodisiac).

Back in the truck, you will pass through many plantations of products that you just tasted at the ranch, before arriving at the entrance of one of the most sought after waterfalls in the Dominican Republic: El Salto de Limón. Now it's time to saddle up for a 30-minute horseback ride that will take you through the rivers and the famous muddy path of the Limon waterfall. The Salto de Limón is truly a sight to behold, set deep in the tropical forests of Samaná, the waterfall crashes from 170 feet above into a green lagoon below. You will have time to cool off in the refreshing mountain waters of Limón.
